Rally to reinstate Parramatta to Epping railway

The Greens are organising a "People Train" rally to lobby for the reinstatement into the government's plans, the construction of the Parramatta to Epping section of the new (now mis-named) Parramatta Rail Link.

Plans for the construction of the western section were dumped by the new Minister for Transport Services (Unservices ?) in June this year, soon after the Carr government was returned at the March election.

The people train will walk part of the planned route, west from Epping Station.

It departs Epping Station at 6pm on Thursday 6 November 2003. Bring your friends.
