Making Transit Irresistible: Lessons from Europe, will present new photos and describe ways to increase the overall attractiveness and feasibility of transit. John is on sabbatical from Rutgers University at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies, University of Sydney, teaching urban transport policy and doing research on public health impacts of urban transport in a comparative analysis of the USA, Canada, and Australia. He is working with colleagues at ITLS-Sydney as well as Professor Adrian Baumann of the School of Public Health, University of Sydney.

Launching the Master of Transport Management / Urban and Regional Planning a joint degree program offered from 2006 by the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies and the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sydney.
