"Getting There" Conference - Papers available

The University of Western Sydney, Western Sydney Community Forum, NCOSS, and the Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils recently held a one day forum entitled "Getting there: improving accessibility, transport and social sustainability."

In the context of the development of the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy, its planned growth centres and extensive urban redevelopment, as well as the implementation of bus reform and rail improvements, this forum brought together ideas about how to improve accessibility of places and transport to services to better meet the mobility needs of people.
