Proposed changes to STA bus routes in Parramatta-Ryde-City arc

State Transit is proposing changes to its routes in the Parramatta-Ryde-City arc to coincide with the implementation of integrated (through-running) train services on the new Epping to Chatswood Rail Link (ECRL). Integrated rail services are expected to commence in November 2009. An Epping-Chatswood shuttle rail service is expected to commence in the first half of 2009, for which STA will just withdraw the few services which duplicate the train route.

STA has letter-boxed 160,000 homes regarding the proposed changes, seeking comment. A detailed brochure, including a map, is available to facilitate public comment. Submissions close with the STA at Reply Paid 2132, Strawberry Hills, NSW, 2010, on Friday 30 January 2009.
