Wynyard bus stop rearrangements a win for passenger advocacy

posted Tuesday 7 December 2010
The Wynyard bus stop re-arrangements of 6 December 2010 have been introduced to improve the flow of buses, especially in peak hours. The changes were one of the conditions of the recent Memorandum of Understanding between the State Government and the City of Sydney. York Street will be set-down only in the a.m. peak. It will "untangle" bus movements but will also improve conditions for passengers.

Strong advocacy by passengers, who included APT members, played a significant role in bringing about some of the changes.
